I make a it a point to get a picture each year of the boys. It’s funny how even such a simple setup can capture their individual personalities.
I have these white numbers 1 through 7. They are a fun prop to use for any milestone mini session.
Haven was asleep, so I was up getting a few things done, when I heard her start to fuss from the other room. I go in and Sawyer is already standing beside her.
Me: Did she start to cry, Buddy?
Sawyer: Yes, I made scary noises to calm her down, but it didn’t help.
Me: You made SCARY noises to calm her down?
Sawyer: Yes, I made loud, scary noises, but she didn’t stop crying…
Me: Well, thanks for checking on her Buddy, maybe we can try something else next time…
Haven had her first check-up with Dr. Patel today. She did great, even with her shot. When we took her home from the hospital, she had lost down to 6 lbs 9 oz, but today she was back up to 6lbs 15 oz – almost back to her birth weight.
I saw this comic recently and found it pretty accurate. I can just imagine Dr. Patel’s face if I told him “many boobs full” lol
It was so nice when the boys got out of school we decided to let me play outside for awhile before nap. Can’t beat scooters and sunshine in the middle of January!
We’ve been letting Cohen’s hair grow out a little bit. Most days it drives me nuts to have it longer, but sometimes when it flips out in the back, it reminds me of when he was little and used to have some little curls back there. Maybe we’ll keep it for a little longer <3
Of course they have to take breaks in their scooter riding to check on baby sister.
Daddy even grilled cheese burgers, and we had an outside picnic for lunch.
We made a trip to the mall today to have our annual visit with Santa. Cohen was so excited to talk to Santa – it’s a good thing the line was short!
Sawyer is a little less enchanted by the idea of Santa, but was still happy for the photo op.
This is my favorite of the two of them together. Poor Santa!
