We spent some time out at the River Lot today. Faith can be so timid when she is climbing things or playing on a jungle gym, but you put that girl anywhere near water and she is completely fearless! She loves to go for rides on the jetski. You seriously can't go fast enough or hard enough for her. Nathan had her jumping waves and taking fast turns, and she just squealed with excitement the entire time. Later when she went for a ride with her Mamaw she asked, "Can you take me in circles, like Uncle Nathan does?"

Today they started adding the tops to our door and window trim. I know Kendell worked really hard trying to find exactly what we needed to make the craftsman style trim, but I LOVE the way it turned out!!! So at least his hard work is well appreciated. These are the windows in one of the kid's bedrooms.

Today they installed our ceilings fans. There is one in each of the bedrooms, plus the office and the sunroom. They are all white with a center bowl light. So far they seem super quite.

As busy as we have been, I still have been able to do some scrapbooking. It's kind of what keeps me sane through all this crazyness. So I thought I would take some time today to share some of my recent pages.
Here's a layout I did about Nathan and my 3rd Wedding anniversary. You might recognize the photo from my blog header. Hmmm, that means that picture is over a year old, and I should probably update it one of these days.... add it to the list :)
Journaling reads:
Tonight we celebrate our third wedding anniversary. We’ve had three amazing years as husband and wife and somehow each year just continues to be better than the one before. Some people may not think three years is that long, but I think we’ve had more love in this three years than some people have over a lifetime. So tonight I want to celebrate – I want to celebrate our time together, the future we have before us, and how much we mean to one another. Tonight, I want to celebrate you and me, and me and you forever.

Today is my parent's 30th Wedding Anniversary. We all went up to Hocking Hills and did their zip line tours. It was sooo much fun! I'll have pictures to share soon. We were pretty wore out from the day, so I didn't make them get their picture taken today, but I'm planning a photo shoot for the near future. Thirty years is a pretty big deal! So for now, here's a picture of the cake.

We went out to check on our kitchen cabinets today. The cabinets that you see stained is our island. It is 4x9 and the hole you see will be filled by our dishwasher. The large cabinet laying beside it is one of our pantrys. In the back, the tall cabinet is for our double-oven wall unit. Beside it is the other cabinets that will hold our microwave and stovetop. They actually had a mix up on some of the other cabinets, but we think we got everything straightened out.

They grouted the kitchen tile today. I really like how it turned out.

Four years ago today, I married my best friend. These four years have gone by so fast, and yet most days it also feels like we've always been married.
We spent most the day waiting around for the health department and running other various errands for the house. We actually had plans to go out to eat this evening, but we were both just too tired. Romantic, I know. But we did spend the entire day together, which is what really matters.

Today we installled our septic tank. The tank is a cement tank that we ordered. It is a two-chamber system. We were required to have a 1000 gallon tank, but we decided to go with a 1500 gallon tank just for some extra assurance.
