Freedom to Blog

I’ve been struggling lately to keep my blog updated, and quite frankly that makes me sad, because I miss sharing all of the funny stories of my boys’ everyday lives and the many, many cute pictures I take of them. I think I always felt pressure to share the pictures on the date that they were taken. Or if I missed a couple of days, I felt like I had to go back and update those days before I could share the new stuff. Which is all just silly!

So for the start of the second half of the year, I am giving myself the freedom to blog. I’m giving myself the liberty to blog whatever I want, whenever I want – without all the crazy, self-imposed rules. So if working on pictures from several months ago, and feel like sharing them – that’s what I’m going to do! I will try to at least note when the pictures were taken, that way if you see pictures of my kiddos in long sleeves in the middle of July, you don’t wonder what in the world we are doing. And if I miss a few days of blogging, but then feel like posting 4 times in one day – well that’s what I’m going to do (my Type A personality is still adjusting to the idea of this freedom, but for now, we’ll just go with it!)

Hopefully this will all lead to me being able to share more which is what we all want any way. Either way the new freedom makes my heart feel happy, just like this cute little guy below!
